Ldl Cholesterol Increase

ldl cholesterol increase
Tuna and bad cholesterol (LDL)?

I recently got a blood test done and the results show very high LDL cholesterol. I am 27 years old and my LDL level is 186 , it was 135 a year back and looks like it kept increasing. In the cafe at my work place I eat salad but I also eat the tuna present in the salad bar, I wanted to know if this tuna that I eat from my salad bar is good/bad for LDL. Should I continue eating this or stop eating this.

Ignore the first answer. This person ignores current medical evidence to rant about cholesterol.

#1 – The tuna is fine. It’s what goes with it. Dressing, mayo, etc.

Your first step is to get regular exercise. Then, minimize fried foods. Lean meats are fine. If you like fish, broil or bake it.

Good luck!
