Ldl Cholesterol In Food

Do you know what foods, herbal supplements, & vitamins will remove LDL (bad) cholesterol?
Besides Oatmeal of rolled oats, what is a good way to remove Low Density Lipoproteins to where high cholesterol is not an issue. I don’t have high cholesterol, but it runs in my mom’s and dad’s family and I don’t want to get it. I eat very health (most of the time) and I need a sure fire way of preventing this from happening in the next years to come so I won’t be like the dozens of my family members on anti-hyperlipidemic medications. I take a handful of vitamins and was wondering if my fish oil with omega 3’s is a great way to remove cholesterol build up in the veins and arteries. Thanks for your help.
The trend was to take “Red Yeast Rice” (RYR), which has a natural occurring lovastatin. Pfizer, the manufacturer of Lipitor, petitioned the FDA stating RYR was not just a food supplement, but a non regulated drug. So, the RYR you find in the US and Canada has all the Lovastatin removed and is essentially ineffective. NOTE!!! If anyone is on a statin drug, it is imperative to take co-enzyme Q10 (COQ10) along with it. The Liver mfgs cholesterol and the statin blocks the pathway. Unfortunately, this is the same pathway for CoQ10 which is used in the ATP process. Your heart will be the most critical point of depletion and can eventually lead to cardiac arrest.
Diet and exercise will lower everyone’s cholesterol to a normal level EXCEPT those who have a missing liver enzyme. Believe it or not, 26% of the population has a missing enzyme and hinders the conversion of homocysteine to cysteine. Without going into the biochemistry, if not broken down, homocysteine is an inflammitory amino acid that will attack your vascular system.
Cholesterol IS NOT the culprit! As your arteries inflame, small fissures appear in the tunica intima (inner most artery wall layer) and cholesterol rushes to “patch”. Since this is an injury, macrophages also rush in and enter between the inner most layer and the Tunica Media (next outer layer). The macrophages become foam cells and collect between the layers and build up. Eventually the foam cells expand to the point where it closes off the arteries. At this point, the foam cells are “unstable plaque”. If the intima layer breaks open, the plaque oozes out and will stroke the patient. Over a period of time, the foam cells calcify and become “stable plaque”. The problem is that the stable plaque constricts the vessel, thus blocking blood flow.
The good news is that there is a simple fix for the missing enzyme. High cholesterol runs in my family and even though we’re all athletes, eat well, etc, we all have high cholesterol. Working with researchers, I am taking a supplement called “Trimethylglycine” or “TMG” which can be purchased at any good health food store. TMG is a methyl donor and in essence, helps convert homocysteine to cysteine.
HDL, the good component of cholesterol, acts as a LDL scavanger and will gobble them up. My HDL was 42 prior to taking the TMG (regardless of how much I ran) and with TMG, it is now 64. My LDL dropped to a safe level. I went off of the supplement and my HDL dropped and LDL went back up. Note: I kept my diet and exercise constant. Returning back to the supplement, I achieved my original results.
NOTE!!! Do not take TMG UNLESS you have exhausted all other methods (minus statins) to control your cholesterol.
The person who gave the thumbs down has no clue what is going on and shows extreme ignorance. Besides being clueless about vascular disease, they have no idea of how the body works in regards to biochem. I am working with PhD researchers around the world in regards to this problem and mainstream medicine will not convert the findings into practical applications for years to come. What a moron
